Recently adopted a six year old rehomed, fur baby, Kerwin, black Havanese, adorable, committed to pulling on leash walks.
10 years ago, I adopted a rescue who also pulled, since he was six, I thought he was too late to change, but this time, I decided: there must be a better way!

This has lead me to realize leash training is just like training your mind!
Just as Kerwin’s lead to follow the nearest: bunny, squirrel, bird… so’s your mind!
Like training Kerwin, you can train your mind.
So here’s the thing you’ll discover what both have to teach you, in this weeks’s podcast.
Excited to share the discoveries.
Look forward to your listening in and reading your comments.

Today we talk about the voice in your head that says: You're not worth it, if you were going to have done it, you would've done it already, who are you too…
Bringing this topic to the surface because of a session I had with a new client today who’s 54 year she said, oh my gosh, I've been listening to this voice in my head.
If you're listening to that voice in your head: this is for you!
If you haven't accessed your free 5 minute assessment to identify the saboteurs in your mind, get at it: Free access here: for you to access it, and it’ll give you a printout of the nine different ways your mind gets in your way and tells you things that you've been believing and undermining your success.
Highly recommend you take advantage of it.
I know I felt, thank you for showing me this, I needed to see it. Every client I work with, who takes it is glad for what it reveals.
Understand why they've made the choices they've made and why these situations keep Showing up in their lives.
So let's get to it.
This voice in your head that tells you: You’re not worth it. If you were gonna do it, you would've done it already.
My client’s someone who saw herself as an artist, but wasn't able to claim her artistic strengths and abilities because of something that happened a long time ago.
Here’s the thing about these patterns that develop. Something happens in our life and it has us believing a story and then the story helps us to stay safe.
What these sabotage patterns do, as childhood strategies they make you believe this’s how it should be.
Then they keep you from living who you are.
As she said, like I just felt like I wasn't authentically myself and was noticing that that's not who I wanted to be as a parent.
Can you relate? Listen in and share your comments!

remind you, if today you have not been saying yes to you, and this is the first opportunity that you have taken to start to pay attention to you. I do want to make sure that you take advantage of the 15 minute offer that I have for you, which is say Yes to you to have a conversation with me, to just give, let me give you some tips and strategies on helping you put yourself back on your calendar and actually follow through on it: 15 minute check in
So in this conversation of letting go and. One of the things that I know in working with clients is how challenging that can be to let go of things that perhaps are not working, that they get very attached to consistently doing something. Because it's the way they've always done it and it's one of the things that we really spend time on during our work together is really helping them to look at how their attachment to things going a certain way to having to work out a certain way or causing them more pain and suffering.
And it can be in a relationship. A relationship at work where they're wanting someone to be a certain way and they just aren't. They're just not that way, and they just keep frustrated and irritated and can't let go of the situation because they just think, well, if they tell them more force things to happen or get more irritated or stop themselves from feeling all of the irritation and then.
Exploding later, but really still not letting go. Like really holding onto the situation should be different, but it's not. And so how do we let go of those things in our life? How do you let. Go of those things in your life that are not to your liking, they're not working out, and it can be in a personal relationship, maybe there's a friendship that you keep holding onto.
Do listen in, and let me know what you’re going through, love to hear your comments.
With love
