Larry is a Scottish comedy icon, and he joined us to explain that before he was a superstar, he was a pizza delivery man who sold beer to teenagers, was sexually assaulted (for a price) and was relentlessly bullied by his colleagues. Bron learnt a lot in this episode, including how most men think they need to punch each other more as a way of creating boundaries, which she still isn’t sold on. Bretty and Larry decided they would bash heaps of people together, which is not where we thought this episode would go, but then again, this podcasts is always full of surprises. Nick Cody is a famous radio and television presenter, an internationally recognised comedian, a father of two boys and a failed office temp. We thought Nick was born successful considering how impressive his accolades are at such a young age, but it was beautiful for us to learn that once he got so munted at work, his dad had to pick him up leading to him spewing out of the car window and his mum had to hose him down.  Bev is one of the most beloved comedians in the country, but even more than that, she is the loosest. She has a stage presence that demands everyone’s attention, and a very disobedient bladder. We loved learning about Bev’s upbringing, her journey into comedy as a single mum, as well as the many jobs she has had, including bullying UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski, and telling her manager to “fu** off”. You won’t find a laugh louder than this, and we dare you not to love this episode of Bev Killick.

Damo is an impressive man - he has been nominated three times for the Most Outstanding Show at MICF, and he is widely known as one of the best comedians in the country. However, Damo hasn’t always been kicking goals. He was the second (or was it third?) best break dancer in his family and he was often mocked for breakdancing on the revolting dance floor in the Toowoomba nightclub. Whether this built his resilience, or chipped away at his psyche is hard to know. From working in a tent shop, to an IT company, Damo’s employment history is rich, and really, really funny. Claire is Bron’s high school friend, and she has trumped Bron in every aspect of life, except when it comes to volume of kids.

Before Claire was a high flying boss lady saving the world, she was a nanny to a filthy rich family that had a house filled with dead animals.

If it sounds gross, that’s because it is a bit. But it’s great, because Claire is great.
