Today we spoke about having expectations for or anticipating an event, and how our minds can sometimes create entire stories and scenarios in our heads which we measure our experience against, so what we are in essence doing is not actually being present in an experience, but instead being disappointed that it doesn't live up to our imagined expectations. Or we can block ourselves from any enjoyment or fulfilment in the experience at all.  And by overthinking, we can end up trapped in webs of our own making. 

We discussed how having fantasy scenarios of 'better' lives are actually a rejection of ourselves, as we are now, and a lack of self-love.We talked about being in the moment, without expectation, without thought, and how this is so much more of an easier way to live. How giving up expectations and predictions about experiences allows us to be present, allows us to be in the moment as it is, rather than how we want it to be. How this is a richer and much more fulfilling way to go through life, allowing what is to be.

Today we had 3 special guests on that Kim did soul readings for to discuss their experiences, and speak about how their soul readings resonated and helped them - whether by providing clarity, confirmation, guidance and help, or by a reminder of and reconnection with their souls.

 

We talked about how important it is to always follow your Truth, have good boundaries, remember who you are, and not let anything hold you back from living your passion. We spoke about how now is the time for action, and that the time for sitting on the sidelines and hiding is over. How we all must step up, and be our true selves, step into our authentic power, and build close communities of heart-led, heart-open people, to stand together and help each other. 

 

Soul readings are an open channel to your soul, and much of what they are isn't captured in words. Essentially Kim speaks to you in your language, in your voice, the voice of your soul through a reading, with love and whatever energy transmission your soul wishes to share with you.

Today we spoke about connection, connection to God, Source. About how connection is having a relationship to God, how it is accepting What Is, without fighting against it or wanting to change it. How connection can be felt when in nature, when meditating, or just when going about your day. And that connection to God, to Source, is a stripping away, a 'falling into' a remembrance of who you are, a connecting to Self, and not a reaching out to an external unattainable distant presence. 

We talked about how everything is connection to God Source, how in a way it can be compared to eating, to nourishment, how praying while cooking or before eating can be a form of connection and raise your vibration, as can being conscious and aware of everything you put on or in your body, and the thoughts that you allow to linger.

 

We talked about the importance of being fluid, of letting experiences pass through like water, and not holding on to them, not building a town of story and meaning on them.  And how connection to God can't be defined or really described by the mind, but must be felt.

Today we spoke about feeling unmotivated, or stuck, or not knowing what to do. How we can be so programmed in the western world we live in to constantly feel we need to achieve, to do, to make progress, and that sometimes not taking action, not moving forward, can be just what is needed in the moment. Allowing you to take a breath and connect to your inner guidance, which may tell you to rest a while. How instead of looking at the end goal as a massive mountain to climb, taking one step, then another, then another, can be the right pathway. How sometimes just getting on with it, without thought or story, but just by putting one foot in front of the other, doing the tasks you don't like or have been putting off, getting them over and done with, can be the way to get yourself out of feeling stuck. We talked about how feeling stuck or adrift can sometimes mean that you either have too many choices before you, or not enough. That it can be an indication that you are disconnected from yourself, and how by welcoming the aspect of yourself you are pushing away - whether it be a feeling of stuckness, or some other facet of yourself you are rejecting - and embracing it, you are bringing it back home, reuniting with it. And by doing so, allowing yourself to be more whole, and allowing for true inspiration and guidance to flow.

Today we spoke about self doubt - the self doubt that can arise when you compare yourself to others, listen to the critical inner voice, or the implied, assumed or actual criticism from others. How self doubt can cripple you, freeze you in your tracks, and stop you living your life truthfully and naturally. We talked about how self doubt often happens when comparing yourself with others, holding your 'behind-the-scenes' up against somebody else's 'showreel', and how this can send you into a mind spiral of self torture. How when being in the moment, there is no time for self doubt, as it is a luxury emotion, one that is felt or experienced when the mind is given free rein to run and invent scenarios and build stories out of nothing. We touched on self confidence, and how this arises from genuinely being yourself, honestly in every moment. How whatever you create or do, if done with love and from the heart, will  be imbued with your authenticity and energy. And how you are uniquely yourself, so there is no place for self doubt, as you are the only version of you.

Today we spoke about boundaries: energetic, emotional and physical boundaries, how important it is to have strong boundaries, to be aware of when they are impinged upon, to check in any moment what is acceptable to you or not, and to remain aware of your boundary which might fluidly change moment to moment and day to day.

We talked about how important it is not to let programming get in the way of your response to any perceived threat or invasion of your space, or to allow something you are uncomfortable with to continue unnecessarily because of fear of speaking up or reacting in a 'not nice way', and the difference between energetic protection and physical survival.

We discussed how boundaries can be self imposed, as protection and defences, and how these at times can develop into self-imposed prisons of isolation.  And how sometimes in spiritual circles, not having boundaries can be considered to be evidence of spiritual attainment, how people who claim to be empaths can sometimes wear their lack of boundaries as a badge of honour.

What our experiences of love are, what love means to us, how Love Is and Exists whether we are fully aware of it or not, how it is infinite and unbounded in scope and quantity, and can't be tied down or limited by definition or human conditions placed upon it. We talked about how love songs and romantic movies aren't truly about love, but often can be about control and manipulation or fear or desire, and how these interpretations bleed into the collective consciousness and taint perspectives and are accepted as the norm. We spoke about how True Love is unconditional, limitless, expansive and is as an endless river into which we can all fall and dissolve into, without fear of shortage or lack.

Today we spoke about the importance of having a True Guru and Teacher on the spiritual path, about how such a one will walk their talk, will embody Enlightenment instead of just speak about it, and how that is as vital as having them as a guide and mentor. We touched on the huge number of self-titled gurus and teachers out there whose energy doesn't match their teaching, who haven't fully grounded into being what they have understood with the mind. We discussed the Love that a True teacher will radiate and Be, that aren't just empty words but are actions and energy, how Love can take the form of hammering your fingertips off the edge of illusion or ego that you are clutching on to, and that this can be the greatest act of Service and Love that you will ever receive.
