Why It's Not Only George Floyd's Life that Matters
Worried about Nothing Podcast 15 - conversation with Danielle, Katya and Kim, 4th June 2020
~ Worried About Nothing & Nothing to Worry About ~
Weekly conversations (and individual podcasts) with Danielle, Katya and Kim (and friends) about topics ranging from spirituality, to meditation, to fears and worries, and other subjects in between.
Today we spoke about the recent global Black Lives Matter protests taking place around the world that were sparked by the coverage of George Floyd's arrest and apparent murder by a white cop, though we believe that the whole situation was staged and acted, as an intended detonator to ignite the orchestrated raging forest fire of destruction, distraction, division and separation that the racially-fuelled riots have become.
We talked about racism, about how it's not just black lives that matter, but all lives, and that focussing solely on black lives being important or as needing to be spotlit is divisive in itself. We discussed the ease with which mass manipulation can take place and sweep an entire population up into a frenzy of strong emotion, how historically great change has often been preceded by huge unrest, and how there is a deeper movement of change and transformation happening beneath the surface of all that is going on at the moment.
And we spoke of the importance of oneness, of unity, of seeing each other as people instead of causes, individuals instead of an unknown 'other'.
