Do you ever feel like your worth goes down the toilet when you haven't created any results lately that you can show others to prove it?
I definitely experience this. Not as much as I used to. But I definitely feel this still at times.
I was feeling this way a couple of days ago and actually got excited. I realized it was a perfect worthfull episode in the making.
Because if there's one thing I've learned on my worthfull journey so far, it's this: my worth will never be reflected fully by my results. So there's no need to measure my worth by them.
Here's a short and sweet reminder of what to do when your inner voice is telling you your results aren't good enough.

I got to have one of the most important Worthfull Project conversations so far while visiting my dear friend (and college roommate) Liann Seiter last week.
Liann has known me for 11 years, long before worthfull was an idea in my head or I had any idea what it meant to own my worth.
She has witnessed me in so many phases of my own evolution and growth and we've talked about the whole journey as it unfolds.
So when she recently went through a big personal transition in her identity -- leaving her religion of 30 years, changing careers, and building a new belief system -- we knew there was a juicy conversation waiting to be recorded.
Liann graciously shared what it was like to go through such a significant identity change, what opened up to her through deep grief, and what all of this taught her about her worth.
I love this conversation. I think it's so important to talk about our differences and how we find our worth within them. It matters so much.

I keep having conversations and getting asked questions about how to own your worth during big life transitions.
Things like marriage, divorce, becoming a parent, starting a new career, etc. I've been thinking a lot about this as well since I'm in the middle of some big life transitions myself (career shift, moving, dating again).
I LOVE this part of being worthfull. Big life transitions are some of the best opportunities to practice owning my worth. They are times when how I decide to show up matters way more than any particular identity I am labeled with.
It's when I remember that my energy, or spirit, speaks much louder than my labels. And that is at the core of what it means to own my worth.

I was talking to my roommate Candice last night about how I'm learning to manage my responsibilities and also take care of myself.
We talked about how responsibilities can feel like battles - career, money, relationships, spirituality, etc. - and how they can overwhelm us if we're not mindful.
I found myself sharing a thought that I've had many times but had never spoken out loud. I've learned to choose my battles on any given day and only expect so much of myself.
This has made a dramatic difference in my life. Instead of expecting a constant production and output of myself, I'm learning to ebb and flow with the battles I'm facing.
I'm learning to respect my unique journey and only choose the battles I'm capable of handling. This has become a standard for me of living a worthfull life.

I had a few requests from friends for episode topics and I was about to record one on career change. But then I realized I had an opportunity to talk about something much closer to my heart today.
I am single, I've been single for a long time, and I just got rejected yesterday in a promising relationship. So it's a perfect time for me to check in with how I'm owning my worth while being alone.
I know a lot of us experience alone-ness on many levels. Being alone in the sense of being single, without a romantic partner, is definitely a poignant and sometimes heavy kind of aloneness.
But something changed for me in how I view this experience of aloneness in the last year.
My relationship with myself has beautifully transformed as I've practiced owning my worth by myself. And I'm really grateful for this transformation.
In this episode, straight from my humble, single heart, I'm sharing the ways I've learned to be at home and whole with myself. It's one of the best parts of worthfull living.

I got to talk to my dear friend Bryce this week about how he's learning to tell the truth. He's been on a journey of opening up and finding his voice again after years of brutal challenge.
Not only has he weathered abuse, addiction, and a 9 year ongoing bout of cancer, Bryce has lived a lot of his life in fear of what other people will think of him if he tells the truth.
So relatable.
As we discussed his recent breakthrough around speaking the truth and using his voice again, I realized that this conversation is at the core of self-worth. So I asked him if he'd record an episode with me. It's incredibly powerful.
Bryce has been a great teacher and friend to me the six years I've known him. I've seen him at all stages of health and sickness, misery and joy, despair and miraculous healing.
To hear him talk about how he's learning to own his worth is stunning.

I had the huge blessing to be a mentor in a leadership training this past weekend. It's something I do once a year and it always fills me up with gratitude.
About 3 years ago, I took the training myself, and it was transformational to say the least. To this day, it's still a huge part of me learning to own my worth.
Since I was back in that environment this weekend, I was reflecting on how far I've come, but also what I still am working on.
I remembered a quote that I discovered back when I was fresh in this new mindset of possibility, responsibility, and self-love. It's simple and to the point, but every time I read it, it reminds what owning my worth really means.
I recorded a short and sweet episode around this quote to encourage each of us to love the parts of ourselves no one claps for. It's where a worthfull life begins.

I wanted to dive into one of the most important topics of living worthfully today -- dropping the habit of self-judgment and returning to the habit of self-love.
This has been a HUGE part of my journey to own my worth. Huge. It's ongoing, and I'm constantly learning as I go.
It's one of the most challenging pieces of living worthfully, but it's also one of the most rewarding.
As I was journaling this morning, I wrote down a list of things that have changed in my life since I stopped judging myself. It was one of the most beautiful lists I've ever made.
This episode is one of my favorites so far. I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed re-learning to love myself.

I woke up this morning in a daydreamy mood (which is very common for me). And then I thought what a delight it would be to share my thoughts on the worth of daydreaming.
Here's the thing: I have been a big daydreamer since I was a little girl but I tried to force myself out of the habit a few years back. I had started to distrust my dreams. It was rough.
Over the past 4 years, I've fallen back in love with the process and, consequently, it has become one of my very favorite habits. I make time for it. I honor it. And I learn a lot from it.
This solo episode is my reveal of how and why daydreaming has been such an integral part of learning to own my worth. It connects to my desires, intuition, and joy in a big way. I also share specifics on the ways I've found to productively daydream - a real tell all!
Mostly, this episode is a celebration of how far I've come in listening to myself. It's something I'm really grateful for.

I was talking to my lovely roommate Candice Gutierrez today about the importance of self-care. I realized this is a perfect worthfull conversation that I've touched on but haven't dived into.
And if there's anyone to preach the truth of self-care, it's Candice.
She is not only a brilliant media and film professional, she also understands how important it is to take care of your body, mind and spirit no matter what.
What I was really excited to hear her perspective on was how she is practicing self-care during a major career and life transition.
I loved what she said about how low-tech quality self-care can be. It doesn't have to be spa days and over-indulgence. It can be as simple as the self-talk we listen to and the small decisions of how we spend our time.
