Wowie zowie. Season 2 of the Worthfull Project podcast is upon us, and there is a change in the wind.
I knew I wanted to elevate the show and the conversations I was having. Because why not?
So I thought about the best conversations I have and how I can bring those to the show.
And I started recording them with some of the most beautiful, brilliant people I've met.
This first one was revelatory to me, and maybe it will be for you as well. I sat down with my dear friend Traci, who is a master scriptorian and just started teaching the study of ancient scripture at the university level.
You can imagine the kind of conversations we have about God, purpose, life, faith, etc.
And while I thought we were going to be discussing just the worth of studying ancient spiritual texts to find wisdom about ourselves, we ended up going down rabbit holes we didn't know the direction of.
What we ended up discussing at the end of the episode is one of the most exciting and meaningful lessons I've learned on this worthfull journey so far. It's a clarity that came to me about how our infinite worth is related to the worth we place on our actions.
This is the beginning of a whole new chapter of the Worthfull Project. Thank you for joining me in it.

Wowie zowie, here we are at Episode 50 and the end of the first season (and the first year!) of the Worthfull Project podcast!
I have all joyful emotions at this moment. Gratitude, grace, abundance, happiness, appreciation, respect, humility, and more.
To think that a year ago I started this podcast because I said I would and now I've been able to experience so much beauty and connection through it is a BLESSING.
To celebrate this little milestone, I invited back my first guest (and one of my best friends), Rebecca, who has been my accountability partner the whole way through.
We reflect on a whole year of worthfull living, what we have created, and where we still have room to grow.
I'm taking the last few weeks of the year to meditate and prep for an elevated Season 2. I can't wait to keep going on this journey with you.

Sometimes a friend offers to record a podcast episode with me and they are the type of person who is willing to discuss the things most people are not willing to discuss.
That is when I get really grateful that we are recording a conversation together. I've found so much value through the years in hearing the candid truth about the unpretty parts of life. Because that's how I've learned to accept and love myself through my own unpretty chapters.
My friend Rebekah is one of those candid, self-loving kind of people. She's been THROUGH IT -- divorce, financial scarcity, perfectionism, food addiction, etc. And she's coming through it like a phoenix rising from the ashes.
We decided to record an episode about how she learned to own her worth while in a crucible of reinvention. I felt like I was looking in a mirror while she told her story. I think you might too.

My friend Aimee and I have endless conversations about the worth of being artists, how to value our creative time, what is possible when we spend more time in creative pursuits, and on and on.
So when she mentioned it could be an interesting conversation to record a worthfull episode on, I AGREED.
I've always had an artistic side to me and even studied Humanities in college. I've spent years and years pondering on the worth of the arts. This conversation is different though, because we talk about the worth of the artist.
I love Aimee's perspective because she is not only a prolific artist herself (photography, glass blowing, ceramics, etc), she teaches the rising generation how to do the same.
This episode is for all the listeners who wish they spent more time being creative but have doubted the worth of that time.

I had a few ideas of what I was going to record today's episode on. I have been traveling and wrapping up some chapters of my life in LA.
I wanted to skip today's episode because I'm tired and ready to vacation. And I'm traveling. And it's late. And I've been doing a lot.
And then as I was texting my dear friend Rebecca, I was reminded of how much this project matters to me. And that it's important for me to be honest about what matters to me. And it's important for me to do what matters to me.
So I recorded this quick solo round as a reminder to myself as much as to anyone listening that telling the truth MATTERS. It matters so much -- in our relationships, with ourselves, and in all our actions.
The foundation of my self-worth is built on how I keep my word. And it is so worth it to tell the truth.

I just moved from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City and was a little occupied for the past two weeks (hence missing a week of posting an episode).
However, what I experienced during the move was so beautiful, I couldn't wait to share an episode on the topic.
I have moved many times in my life but rarely have I ever received all the support people offer me. When I wasn't owning my worth, I thought that other people should receive support before me -- people who "needed it more."
Due to my commitment to worthfull living, I said yes to ALL the support I was offered this time around, and MY OH MY what a beautiful, easy, joyful, non-exhausting experience it has been. I am overflowing with abundance in all areas as a result of receiving support.
In this episode, I use my move as an example of what's possible when we receive all the support that is offered to us on a constant basis -- because we're worthy of it.

I got a text from my friend Danielle recently that said, "I'd be happy to share how I'm learning to own my worth while going through a divorce."
Wow, yes. What a gift this conversation was. Danielle and I met a couple of years ago when she moved to LA, but rarely saw each other. When she separated from her husband, we connected again and I was immediately impressed with her candor and courage in the middle of an extraordinarily hard situation.
When we sat down to record this episode, we spent a long time talking about all the things we've learned from broken relationships. It was poignant and profound and this conversation is no different.
I value these conversations so much, and in this one, I remembered so much of what it means to be human, to choose love, and to own our worth when we are grieving the loss of the things we care most about. I hope you do too as you listen.

I'm right in the middle of a busy stretch of work weeks and having a great time. So it felt fitting when my good friend Nick asked me to record an episode on the difference between value and worth.
I've been thinking a lot about my value in the workplace lately as I've been transitioning my clientele and getting interesting new gigs.
But I know that the very best gigs come when I own my worth. My value is a reflection of how I own my worth.
Here's a solo round on my journey to extricate my value from my wo

I have been a mentor coach in one of my favorite leadership trainings for the past couple of months and it has been wonderful, as always.
But this past weekend, during one of our weekend trainings, our coach led us through a visualization that was so powerful, I knew I needed to write it all down so that I'd never forget.
I then decided it would be even better if I recorded an episode about it as well -- so that I really don't forget :)
And of course, my invitation is for you to take advantage of this visualization as well. It's so simple and so profound.
It has to do with the very core of our worth -- the wisdom we have always had but that we often forget to tap into.
I hope you take the time to do this visualization. And I hope you remember how full of worth you are when you do.

One of the biggest lessons I've learned from living in Los Angeles for the past few years is to honor the worth of everyone around me -- no matter their circumstances.
So many people in this city are experiencing homelessness. I see people sleeping on the street I live on every night.
It can feel like an overwhelming issue -- so much suffering and challenge and struggle. But I've been learning to see this as a chance to honor the worth of everyone around me, to see myself in them, and to give the most simple offering I can -- my acknowledgment of their worth.
As I was walking home tonight and pondering this, I realized that my energy levels are directly related to my level of worth. When I let my circumstances dictate my worth, my energy can plummet. But when I anchor myself in habits that remind me of my worth, my energy soars, despite my circumstances.
I recorded a few of my thoughts on this to remind myself that my relationship with my worth determines my level of energy. And I can always control my relationship with my worth.
