Americans are sicker than ever before. Over 60% of the US population is overweight or obese, and pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes are at an all time high. But what's causing it? It's our food.

With an agriculture system that's driven by profits, the prevalence of cheap, toxic ingredients is everywhere. This week's episode shines a light on the issues we're facing, as well as how to create lasting change that will not only help us heal our collective dis-ease, but set up future generations for better health and longevity.

Home cleaning products are FILLED with toxic chemicals, and there's no legislation that requires companies to tell you what's inside them! This is wrong on so many levels, but mostly because these ingredients are extremely hazardous to your health. They're carcinogenic, obesogenic, endocrine disrupting, and many are neurotoxins! 

So this week (actually this entire month) I'm encouraging a REVOLUTION when it comes to purchasing these crappy products and instead, opting to make or purchase only those that are known to be safe, effective and multipurpose.

This week I thought I'd share my personal story and how it led me where I am today. I hope you enjoy it. It's taken me a lifetime to heal and accept myself and really let myself shine unapologetically in the world, I've always held back for fear of ostracism or judgement. But now that I'm older and going through menopause, I find myself caring less and less what people say about me. It's very freeing, and I wish it would've happened sooner. I wish we could all feel it everyday.
