「When they had made an end of dividing the land

　as an inheritance according to their borders,

　the children of Israel gave an inheritance

　among them to Joshua the son of Nun.」　　 　Amen.

After much effort, Joshua finally assigned the troublesome inheritance lands. At that moment, the excited people realized that Joshua himself had not received an assignment. Joshua was a type of Christ. The place given to Jesus was the cross between two thieves. It was the place for our salvation, and for Jesus, it was also a place of endurance, obedience, and gentleness. (matthew18:20)“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Jesus is God, Immanuel.

May we lift our eyes to the Lord's cross today as well...

『手を洗い自らの潔白を示します。

　【主】よ私はあなたの祭壇の周りを歩きます。』

　主は、私たちに白い義の衣を着せてくださいました。それは、水の洗いだけではなく、小

羊の血の洗いで白くなるのです。そして、祭壇の周りを歩きますと続くのです。祭壇には、

捧げものがなされます。「全焼のいけにえ」、「和解のいけにえ」、「罪のためのいけに

え」、「罪科のためのいけにえ」、私たちの礼拝が、カルバリの祭壇をめぐる高らかな賛美

と証しの時となりますように。

　今日も、主に礼拝を捧げる時となりますように・・・。

　and Joshua charged those who went to survey the land,

　saying, "Go, walk through the land, survey it,

　and come back to me,

　that I may cast lots for you here before the Lord in Shiloh.」　　 Amen.

　A tabernacle was erected for Shiro, and for the seven tribes whose inheritance had not yet been assigned, three commissioners were selected from each tribe to conduct the survey and division. Twenty-one men traversed the mountains and rivers, meticulously examining the produce of each region and creating maps. These maps and records would influence future generations.It may have been an insatiable pursuit of God, or perhaps it became a vital text for spiritual awakening.The documents we leave behind today may well give birth to future Christians."Ecclesiastes 11:1　 Cast your bread upon the waters,For you will find it after many days."

May we today bear a part in the Lord's plan...

　その際ヨシュアは、

　その地について書き記すために出て行く者たちに命じた。

　「さあ、あなたがたはその地を行き巡り、

　その地について書き記し、私のところに帰って来なさい。

　ここシロで、【主】の前で、

　私はあなたがたのためにくじを引こう。」』

　シロに幕屋が建てられ、まだ相続地が割り当てられていなかった七部族の為に、各部族より

三人づつの委員が選出されて測量分割が行われました。二十一人は、山河を行き渡り、各地の

産物をつぶさに調べ、図面を作成したのです。この図面等が後世に影響を与えていくのです。

それは、神への飽くなき追及かもしれないし、霊的覚醒の為の重要な書となったかもしれませ

「"but the mountain country shall be yours.

　 Although it is wooded, you shall cut it down,

　and its farthest extent shall be yours;

　for you shall drive out the Canaanites,

　though they have iron chariots and are strong."」　Amen.

　God remains the same yesterday, today, and forever. The God who blessed us in the past intends to bless us now and in the future. Yet Joseph's descendants complained, saying they wanted more land because their people were numerous.Joshua responded: "Joshua 17:15 　If you are a great people, then go up to the forest country and clear a place for yourself there in the land of the Perizzites and the giants, since the mountains of Ephraim are too confined for you." With the Lord by your side, you can gain the land. It is about trusting the Lord completely to the very end.

　May we trust the Lord completely today as well...

『山地もあなたのものとしなければならない。

　それが森だとしても切り開いて、

　その隅々まであなたのものとしなさい。

　カナン人が鉄の戦車を持っていても、強くても、

　あなたは彼らを追い払わなければならない。』

　神様は、昨日も今日もいつまでも変わりません。過去に祝福してくださった神様は、現在も未来も祝福しようとしておられるのです。でも、ヨセフの子孫は、民が多いのでもっと土地が欲しいと

不平不満をしたのです。それに対してヨシュアは、「ヨシ17:15　あなたが数の多い民であるのなら、森に上って行きなさい。そこでペリジ人やレファイム人の地を切り開くがよい。エフライムの山地はあなたには狭すぎるのだから。」主が共にいてくだされば、土地を得ることはできるのです。最後まで主を信じ切ることなのです。

　今日も、主を信じ切ることができますように・・・。　

「So the children of Joseph,

　Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.」　　Amen.

When Jacob blessed his twelve sons, Joseph received the most blessings. Joseph had two sons: Manasseh, the firstborn, and Ephraim, the second son. But when Jacob blessed them, he crossed his hands. The blessing for the firstborn, Manasseh, was given to the second son, Ephraim.Therefore, the younger son Ephraim became greater than the elder son Manasseh. One reason the northern kingdom of Israel after the split was also called Ephraim was because of his great influence.

　Even today, may it be according to the Lord's plan...

『ヨセフ族、

　マナセとエフライムは自分たちの相続地を受け継いだ。』

　ヤコブが12人の息子たちを祝福した時に、最も多く祝福されたのはヨセフでした。そのヨセフには、二人の息子がいました。長男マナセと次男エフライムです。 でも、ヤコブはこの二人を祝福する時に手を交差して祝福したのです。長男マナセの祝福は次男エフライムへ与えられたのです。

従って、次男エフライムが長男マナセよりも大いなる者となったのです。分裂後の北イスラエルをエフライムとも呼んだのは、その影響力が大きかった為でもあるのです。

　今日も、主のご計画に沿うように・・・。
