Gemma Rose, a sex worker, an activist and a ball of energy that is tackling issues that are plaguing other sex workers and strippers all over the UK.  Her passion for inclusivity shines through her conversation.  Gemma is fierce and hungry to make a change in her community for her community members.  She’s sexy and yes, scary to any one that is in opposition to her, mainly, the UK government.  Can she and her colleagues go up against this monster that is the UK gov?  Guess it takes one to defeat one, hence, the Kraken.

Talking to April Haze was like peeling back an onion.  Layer after layer was revealed, the conversation flowed and brought tears to AM’s eyes at one point.  There was a moment for April where she got to reveal something that she’s been wanting to share, and figured this podcast was an appropriate place to share, and we are so glad she did.  Can’t wait for you to listen to this one, as I think so many of us will learn something new.

The world is changing for sure.  So much has happened in the last 12 months.  In this episode we caught up with Samantha Sun, who just happens to be sunbathing in Canada these days because, well, climate change.  Not only is the climate changing but Sam is too.  She has experienced a ton of growth, as many of us have recently.  She has learned a ton about cyber law in America, about how to work with new people from around the world and how to, in a healthy way, examine her own ways of being in an ever changing, fast-paced society.

There is a trend among sex workers, and that is going against the grain. Seeing the system for what it is and never being able to unsee it. According to Sara, aka Raging Fembot, going against the system and living out loud and confidently are witchy qualities. Sara is very passionate about her support of sex workers and they ways they inspire her. In this episode, we cover sex workers in therapy, how opression and triggers go hand in hand and of course, as mentioned, ways to be a witch.

This is a bit of a different episode where AMD is on the other end of the mic. Producer of Yes, A Stripper Podcast hops on with AM on this one and helps her examine what’s really been going on in her life and how she’s been dealing with it all. Wanting to be honest, vulnerable and authentic, AM speaks on most of the things that happened over the course of the last 12 months.  There is also talk at the end of this episode on ways to expand this show, as we are looking for new hosts in an effort to share this platform.

Shameka has spirit and energy that lights up a room.  Her work on Only Fans and as a Sugar Baby has been so successful, she’s writing books about it.  With the rise of new sugar babies and new online sworkers, people need some guidance on how to navigate this new world we’re living in.  Shameka has weathered some storms for sure and her perspective seems to drive towards strength and being sure of oneself.  This one is a motivator for finding that positive voice from within.

Jessica, aka StrippaYoga, is taking a beat in Mexico, a place that is quiet and allows for peace, rest and thoughtfulness.  Many of us are contemplating next moves since between the pandemic hitting and now, and Jessica is no exception.  Taking a break from social media, taking a break in a restful place, she is asking herself questions about what feels right as we move forward.  She even asks AMD questions here on this episode.  This one is a back and forth almost discussion on what they have both learned recently and how to most ethically move forward into the future.

Nikki St. John has always been known as a shaker and a mover.  She has been running the widely popular account, @poledancenation for several years now.  With her book, show idea and connections, Nikki is doubling down on making her dreams come true.  She was one of the women in the “Get Your Booty to the Polls” campaign, one that definitely contributed to the largest voter turnout in history.

Sage’s story is incredible.  Not only in the way she handled herself, which was amazing, but also how the people she reached out to treated her, which was… the opposite of amazing.  She tells us all about the time she reached out to radio station Hot 97 in New York and was met with put downs, people laughing at her and disparaging her for being a stripper.  The same radio station that plays endless hip hop music.  Strippers and strip club culture inspire so much of hip hops music.  So, there is definitely some whorephobia that these radio DJ’s are dealing with and perpetuating into the communities that their airwaves reach.  We hope the crew over at Hot 97 listens to this one.

Medusa inspires.  Her movement is hypnotic and her energy is contagious.  Learning about Medusa’s journey was cathartic, as it plays into other journeys similar to hers but with it’s own unique feel.  It’s almost nostalgic in a way.  Her fascination with snakes makes sense, as she herself is a slithering slinky goddess.  Medusa’s charm is infectious and irresistible as she shares about her life, her pole dancing in and out of the club and how she’s managing in today’s new world.
