  • Where Have All the Stages Gone?
A couple years long dream came true for AMD. On this episode, she interviews Jacq the Stripper, an idol and a friend. Jacq the Stripper is known as the comic stripper, the babe that makes all those funny cartoons that depict real stripper life in amusing ways, giving all us strippers a laugh and a way to make light of the stigmas and challenges we face. But, this stripper longs for the stage. During this pandemic, people like Jacq are grieving the stage, the place where they feel as if their purpose is being fulfilled. But of course, in true sex worker fashion, she adapts and has words of wisdom to share with other strippers and entertainers.

  • Not All Strippers Think the Same
No, not all strippers think alike, because strippers are all different types of people (just like any workforce) with different types of backgrounds and experience. This week’s guest, Celeste, met AM on a video shoot for a Youtube channel called ‘Jubilee’, video titled “Do All Strippers Think the Same.”  Celeste is a baby stripper, AM is a veteran stripper.  With that difference between them, their views on sex work and being a stripper are just so different!  On this episode, the two discuss their differences, their reasons for their thoughts and the best part, they both acknowledged where they made mistakes in their first encounter.  They both learned from each other and wanted to do this episode so you could learn from them.

  • Whorephobia Between Sex Workers… Whaaaaat?!
Lisa Michelle and AMD have been friends for several years.  They both have experienced going in and out of sex work/stripping during their career and talk about why and what that’s like.
But also, they discuss the complicated boundaries that strippers face when potentially moving into other types of sex work.  This is a point of frustration for both, who recognize, it’s the system that has taught us to pit us against each other.  It’s up to us to get ourselves out of the weeds and come together.  These two also enjoy talking tech with each other and brainstorming new and innovative ways to improve the industry and put more money into strippers hands, garters and bank accounts!

  • Out of the Ashes, Up the Pole and Beyond
Phoenix, true to her name, rose from the ashes and recreated a life for herself.  Overcoming addiction by falling in love with the pole was the beginning of her journey.  She later found herself being transformed in a way she wasn’t expecting.  Coming to terms with internalized misogyny was the first step for Phoenix, then she created art in support of the sex work that she was once frightened of.  So many of us have been there before, these stories need to be shared.  We all have the power to change our perspectives and in Phoenix’s revelations, emerged growth, love and respect.  Powerful stuff.  Listen on, babes.  @phoenix.rose.dancer @thequeenofsexy @periodnetwork @starburnsaudio #YesAStripper #YesAStripperPodcast #StrippersUnite #StripperPodcast #SexWorkerPodcast

  • Sex Worker She Wrote
Kit Monroe had a unique opportunity with the media recently.  It’s not often media reaches out directly to sex workers to write articles for them.  Usually, they write about us without talking to us.  But in this situation, Kit was able to speak for herself and for us, as a sex worker.  This episode, she and AM talk about the current climate in the clubs on the east coast.  Of course, things aren’t all roses there either.  But then again, that’s the issue these days isn’t it?  Time for industry reform!

  • What’s Going on in Sweden?!
Cheetah and Frida are two strippers and sex workers that live in Sweden.  Before Covid, they were able to travel across the border to other countries where working conditions are more favorable than Sweden.  But now with the lockdown, Sweden citizens are being banned from traveling to other European countries.  Now, they find themselves having to navigate in a country where the strip club industry is deteriorating.  Things are not what we may have thought over there.  Cheetah and Frita are giving us the full rundown.  It’s shocking.

  • Barbie Foot Twins
Izzie and AM have some things in common. They are both strippers and they are both amputees. Izzie is a current below the knee amputee and talks to AM about what it’s like being a disabled stripper and even went to work on crutches. With a looming below the knee amputation for AM, the two get intimate about what it’s like. Warning: At minute 29:50, Izzie recounts a story where a man followed her and became verbally aggressive toward her. This may be triggering for some people.
