Interviewing Jen was a real treat. As wise as she is lovely, with some great insights into teaching yoga as well as just living the yogic way of life.
We talked different teaching training, sanskrit, miserable people verses happy people(!), Grant Ifflander's weird coffee habits and even reviewed some tea from the TeaPeople!
So buckle in tight.
Jen also mentions The Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer (which is the second time I've been recommended it, so it's now been purchased! ;) )

It was a deep pleasure to hang out with Ross and record this episode. We went pretty deep pretty quick; as the man says himself "why go shallow?"
Yoga, drugs, teachers, consciousness and sadhana, Youtube channel 'Methods to Life' and his classes on Zoom; all topics covered in a whirlwind hour!

This episode sees me stepping well and truly out of my comfort zone to discuss menstruality (and maybe a bit of yoga) with the wonderful Elaine Rutherford.
Yoga teacher, mother, practitioner of menstrual cycle awareness and all round beautiful human being; Elaine and I talk the seasonal nature of our cycles - both feminine and masculine, as well as kirtan, practicing yoga as a new mother and the future of Om Body yoga, based in Romsey.
*After finishing the episode Elaine and I agreed to record a follow up with some practical applications on cycle awareness - we are going to schedule that in later this year!*

I know I say this every episode, but this one is a stonker! My guest Regi is a Dutch yoga teacher, Thai massage therapist, Reiki healer and transformational breath instructor - a real "yogic penknife" and an INCREDIBLE human.
We talk everything from the importance of the first 7 years of childhood, to grounding yourself... if you're at sea(!), to unpicking the knots of deep seated trauma that can manifest even as physical disease.
I am also committed to trying Regi's Breathwork sessions and reporting back in a later episode with him.

Well this was a super fun episode - talking to the yoga teacher + nurse combo Fran is both a pleasure and an honour. We talk nursing, chair shaped humans, eating your own brain and surfing, oh, and I think yoga gets mentioned *winky face emoji x12
THINGS TO CHECK OUT
Fran's new project (along with 2 fellow yogis) Breathe & recover is checkoutable on www.breatheandrecover.com
Also the book mentioned is GUT, by Giulia Enders - it's added to my reading list, so chuck it on yours too! *more winky face emojis
This episodes guest is the incredible Rob Colley; military veteran who has just made the often difficult transition back to civilian life look easy with the help of his yoga practice and an unshakeable core!
He has an amazing story from discovering yoga deep underwater(!), to training the [soon to be] first ever female F1 world champion!! His current mission is to help others THRIVE rather than just survive - a mission that right now could be more important than ever in our history.
