Young and the Restless sees Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is spiraling out of control, with her life in Genoa City quickly turning into chaos. Rejected by Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), abandoned by her daughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), and jobless due to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Phyllis is on a destructive path, ready to retaliate against her enemies on the CBS soap opera. 

Y&R sees Phyllis especially furious with Billy for her dismissal from AbbottCom, believing Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) conned her way into her position. Phyllis has a plan to conspire against both Billy and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) with whom she shares a dark past. As she weaves her web of vengeance, she may even attempt to reunite with her old flame, Danny Romolotti (Michael Damian), and alienate her newfound ally, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), who is attempting to help her navigate her current crisis.
