The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of July 28th to August 1st show Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) reigniting old flames only to hit a roadblock almost instantly. 

Y&R spoilers reveal that unexpected alliances form as Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) set out to locate the missing Nick and Sharon. With Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) stepping in to represent Carter against criminal charges, the plot thickens. 

And, weekly spoilers for The Young and the Restless indicate that Carter's desperation escalates when his plan to reunite Cane and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) falls apart, leading to a tense standoff involving Lily as a human shield. As Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is prepared to sign over Chancellor Industries for Nick's freedom, she encounters an empty storage room and a furious confrontation with Amanda. 

Plus, spoilers for Y&R hint that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is killed, and Carter meets a similar fate. Amidst the chaos, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) find themselves defending Cane, and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) engage in a power struggle. As the week comes to a close, Victor brings the family together, and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) makes a sacrifice for Billy.
