This week, Mark arrives glowing with five layers of suncream after climbing 111 tube-station steps for the sake of his shorts, while Denis recounts the horror of being fully stuck in a lift. From there, they spiral into the true gauntlet of modern life: helping Irish parents with online banking. Denis spends six and a half hours trying to get his dad to charge an old phone, open an app, ignore the barking dogs and stop pretending to be “changing trains.

What starts as a chat about birthdays and forest bathing quickly becomes:
Mark revisiting his childhood obsession with Radio Kerry’s late-night “Love Zone,”
Denis trying to understand how a 10-year-old ended up under the duvet listening to “The Way You Look Tonight,”
a full breakdown of Mark’s week of sickness, snuffles, lozenges, ginger shots and… tummy incidents,
and the stress of giving tours around Buckingham Palace while praying for survival.
Then Denis shares one of the most awkward moments of his life:
a restaurant bringing over a candlelit dessert he didn’t order,
the staff clapping,
a chocolate plate saying “Happy Anniversary” even though they’ve been dating four weeks,
Denis eating the entire thing himself,
and a second restaurant the following week accidentally starting another birthday celebration.

There are mint-choc cocktails, lip-syncing Americans, postman-delivered flowers, and a very fragile man on the brink.

This week, Mark and Denis settle into their very blue new studio complete with TV3 morning-show energy and catch up on a surprisingly dramatic few days. Denis arrives with big news: after last week’s accident, Lisa finally got the X-ray… and came out wearing the full medical boot. Meanwhile, Mark reveals he once kept hospital crutches under his bed “for attention,” so the lads compare childhood injuries, cast envy and the strange Irish pride of hobbling around school.

crumbs on the tube, public-transport etiquette and Mark’s mother’s extreme sentencing guidelines

This week, Denis arrives breathless after Lisa catastrophically injures her foot trying to hang a lampshade and somehow still insists on going to work like a post-office Terminator. Mark shares his NHS survival hacks, Denis discovers the healing power of frozen edamame, and the lads debate whether A&E is ever truly worth the eight-hour wait.

From there, things escalate:
the great Homeware Heist of Dunelm (accidentally… allegedly… stealing five pans)
