The company announced a plan to reduce its global headcount by approximately 270 employees, which represents approximately 20% of the Company’s total number of employees prior to the reduction. This action was taken in response to current market conditions and after reducing other discretionary expenses, with a view toward driving long-term efficiency.

Stepful offers programs that leverage a mobile-first approach involving short videos, group projects, simulations, and community learning modules targeted at people in underserved communities—the company partners with health systems to help them fill critical roles. Most programs are a fraction of the cost of traditional in-person educational offerings and lead to an average income boost of 25%.
