This episode can be listened to as a buyer or a seller of something. I'm talking about an earworm I couldn't shake as I was reviewing and writing recent sales pages for a couple of clients. They said the same words I had said previously, 'I don't like the idea of pain points in my marketing'.
So, I share this conversation to start a different angle of the dangle of pain points in selling.
While I make every effort to stick to one point here about moving the connection to pain points in selling, you can giggle as I catch myself in 'Squirrel' moments and then quickly bring myself back to the main point (yes, I too am continually practising the art of clear messaging).
Pain points in selling are an industry of themselves, and I truly believe we can shape the market by learning what they do and what we can do instead. This conversation contributes to a broader conversation that I'm sure (hope) already exists in the world, and this one just has my language angle.
Listen loosely, and then you can giggle as you notice the pain points in your world. Giggle as you see businesses doing the very best they can with what they have.
