  • Episode 115: How To Cope With Being “Ghosted” w/ Mary Jo Rapini
In this week’s episode of the podcast, I am joined by psychotherapist Mary Jo Rapini to discuss how to deal with being “ghosted”. “Ghosting” isn’t a new phenomenon as men have been “disappearing” for centuries. Today we see that more people than ever utilize “ghosting” as a passive-aggressive way of ending a dating relationship without using words to communicate that they are no longer interested in continuing to engage with the person.
Mary Jo also discusses the importance of “dating like a grown-up” and gives some great tips on determining if your potential date is mature enough to sustain a healthy relationship.
Mary Jo Rapini is a practicing psychotherapist with a private practice in Houston, Texas, and an author whose mission is to build and encourage healthy, strong relationships, beginning with the most important relationship of all – the one with yourself. She is also a contributing expert at Fox.26 with “Ask Mary Jo.”
Mary Jo has been featured on CNN, TLC, Discovery Health, The Steve Harvey Show, and Dateline NBC. She believes that every relationship you will ever have depends upon your ability to understand and get along with yourself.

  • Episode 113: What Will Become Of Marriage?
In this week’s episode, I wanted to discuss the current statistic that marriage rates are falling, especially among African Americans. I have also had some really heartbreaking conversations this week with a few other influencers and friends on where they see the concept of marriage going in the future.
I am and will always be an advocate for love and marriage. I believe in both and I aspire to have both in my life one day soon. Too many younger women that I talk with or coach are stating they don’t even believe in real love and doubt it even exists. They don’t see themselves trusting a man enough to be in love with him or marry him and allow him to lead their home. This says something about our current culture and I wanted to have a discussion about it.
Please share with me in the comments what are your honest thoughts about love and marriage. Is this something you aspire to do one day? Do you believe it’s possible (or for that matter probable)?

  • Episode 108: “What Is The Future Of Masculinity?” w/ Nakada of Heart On Break
Ladies! I’m back with ANOTHER episode featuring a male author, influencer, dating and relationship coach or high-value single guy to discuss all things love out here. I follow so many wonderful male influencers on social media and today’s guest is someone I follow on Facebook. His book “Heart On Break” is the must-read book for men detailing how to take a break from relationships to focus on finding and following your life’s purpose.
My guest in this episode is Nakada, author of “Heart On Break” and he believes that the best relationship advice for men is to take a break from relationships to find purpose before pursuing love. “Heart On Break” breaks down all the factors that affect a man’s success in life and love, why he needs to heal, and why he needs a break to do this on his own.
With over 10,000 copies of his book “Heart On Break”, now in circulation, it could be an understatement to label Nakada exclusively as an author or just a writer.
Other titles Nakada proudly wears are lifestyle and wellness coach, professional photographer, business and marketing consultant, urban farmer and horticulturist, father and avid student of esoteric and metaphysical sciences.
Since the release of “Heart On Break”, Nakada has been coaching and advising men in the arena of purpose development, wellness and relationship management. Rather than being another author, speaking solely from experience or the success of reaching thousands of people with his book, Nakada has incorporated the divine sciences of his ancestors into his coaching platform to help those he works with one-on-one gain powerful knowledge of themselves that can transform their life when acted upon.

  • Episode 106: A Woman’s Worse Communication Trait!
In this week’s episode, I am going to address what I personally believe is a women’s WORST communication trait. I have talked with, coached, and counseled thousands of men; single and in couples. Almost all of them have complained about this one trait that women have when it comes to communication with them.
I’m bringing it to your attention because I myself spent years doing this very thing. I actually believe in the MYTH that I am talking to you about in today’s episode. And honestly, it was the WORST thing I ever did. I found myself more frustrated and confused than ever and I STILL didn’t get what I wanted with men.
Understand this, my lovelies. Everything I teach and offer to you for your consideration is out of my OWN pain and suffering in love and relationships. I have made ALL of the mistakes a woman can make in 53 years. I learned lots of hard lessons and I don’t believe that you have to learn those same lessons the way I did. You can take these teachings and advice as young as 21 years old and have a fabulous love and dating life. You can have it all without having to DO it all! And you can be the cherished love Goddess you deserve to be!
I wanted to give you two free gifts with this episode. You can download the Effective Communication Techniques 101 sheet HERE. I also want you to learn how to express yourself using feelings words and HERE is a list of some!
