Forget the word “vegan:” Vegan and healthy are not the same thing! Oreos are vegan! Even “healthy vegan restaurants” are actually sources of fat-bombs!
Commit to oil-free: One tablespoon is 120 calories and 14 grams of fat. Even if you’re in a deficit, you store it as fat.
Stop counting calories: IT DOESN’T WORK. Studies have shown that eating a calorie controlled diet plant-based vs not causes greater weight loss. This diet speeds up our metabolism & turns us into fat burners. It’s not how much you eat, it’s WHAT you eat. Calorie counting leads to binge-eating every single time.
Stop relying on exercise: You end up eating in a caloric surplus as opposed to a caloric deficit. Keep it simple: This diet is starches, vegetables, fruits, and legumes. So often, people go crazy looking for recipes - but you don’t need to do this. If you want a few recipes to have in the rotation, go for it… But you can avoid overwhelm by KISS!
