Every Sunday, I schedule a week’s worth of posts: My #instastory, Instagram posts, Facebook statuses, etc.

Start by mastering one or two social media networks / content distribution channels, and then grow into other areas.

Make time to learn every day! Read books and listen to podcasts in your niche so that you can grow your expertise – and take notes!

Every Thursday, I set aside two hours for creative story time. I turn off my cell phone, sit in a quiet place, and focus on the stories in my life that I can share to help people. For your audience, nothing is more powerful than YOUR story!

For Instagram: You want to catch someone’s attention at the top, but you also want a comment or video that keeps them around. The longer people spend looking at your post, the more Instagram’s algorithm will surface your posts.

Look at what other people in your space are doing. Don’t copy them – you HAVE to be original – but look at their most successful posts and take notes about what they did.

Facebook & Instagram actually don’t like scheduling apps! It makes you look like a business.
