little 最常见的意思是少量的，但是 little people 不是这里人很少。其实，little people 也是一个固定短语，真正的意思是平民和侏儒。

little 有幼小的意思，little people 既可以形容一个人身份地位低微，也表示身材矮小，所以 little people 就是平民和侏儒的意思。

此外，little people 和 fairy 的意思一样，都是小精灵。
