Hey #HEALTHYHUNNIES!! In this video, we are talking about weight gain on a WFPB diet! When people first come to this lifestyle, it is totally normal for the number on the scale to go up. In this video, I talk about why that is absolutely nothing to worry about! It is SO important that we know the difference between weight gain and fat gain. Just because we’ve “gained weight” does not mean that we’ve gained fat! In fact - you can be losing fat while gaining weight at the same time! And in this video I explain exactly how and why that happens!! This is why, with my clients, I don’t encourage they look at the scale at first! It is very likely that someone can be losing fat on this lifestyle and gaining weight! However, if you are overweight and you come to this whole foods, plant-based, vegan lifestyle that is naturally high-carbohydrate and low-fat - it is totally normal to gain WATER! Your cells are becoming hydrated - but this natural water retention is NOT fat gain. Please know that if you are overweight, you WILL lose weight on this lifestyle so long as it is done correctly! My clients lose weight EFFORTLESSLY! :) Please note - this video is NOT intended for those who are underweight. That’s a whole different ball game!
