Charlie and Charlie welcome Zach Gemignani, co-founder and CEO of Juice Analytics, to talk about data storytelling. Charlie A. and Zach explain how data storytelling is a process and share their Data Story Creative Process (DSCP) that starts with understanding the dilemma, goals, data, and then to the analysis and story. This process includes a last mile approach for data storytelling where it goes beyond analysis and includes a story to convey the results to compel action.
The DSCP Framework is explained by walking having some fun through a story with Charlie Y. being an Airbnb home owner and is looking to maximize his rental price and occupancy. You will be surprised by what the data shows as actionable features.
