The Dive Into Your Career podcast is back and we are kicking off season 3 with an episode all about sorting out your summer... a summer that has the potential to be fun and purposeful now but also to have a major impact on your potential to access future opportunities.
This isn't a pressure thing at all. It's not that what you do in summer 2021 will make or break your life chances - lol - it is however acknowledgement. Recognition that often summer break is an important time when students create the opportunity to get to know more about certain roles and industries and even themselves... typically through work experience and internships.
In a moment in time where those opportunities are less readily available (though please note, not unavailable - just less so)... isn't it the opportune moment to decide to take action to do whatever possible to create a meaningful summer for yourself which is fun and will positivey contribute to your future too!
In this episode... there are 6 ideas as to how you can sort out your summer in a career development friendly way... and there is a time-sensitive offer of a "Sort out your summer" workshop where you will spend 90-120 minutes with Gina to craft a whole plan. Get outta your head and into action.
Initial workshops take place on 26 & 28 June (book here) and there will be others in early July however if you are 18+, the earlier you take the workshop the better as there will be an opportunity mentioned which has June deadlines. Many others will also be explored in the July ones.
Whether you invest in yourself and join the Sort out your summer workshop (sign up here) or stick with just listening to the episode - there is lots of value here to help you create a great summer ahead.
