Everyone has pain from their past that negatively affects their life. Jesus called this a “broken heart.” In fact, dealing with healing the broken heart was so important it was the very first message Jesus preached when beginning His ministry.

A broken heart is a form of what we call Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This is when a trauma of the past causes us to react to current situations in ways that are irrational and destructive to our present life.
