Another guest googler but this time she's got her OWN 10K Day! 

INTRO: (00:00) It’s a guest googler episode, and this time we have Christina Bianco here with us! Surely you’ve seen her on youtube, especially her impressive appearance on ellen. She has a live album being released on October 6th, and if you stream the whole episode to the end you get to hear our EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PREVIEW! Christina talks about how much she loves 10k Dollar Day because she travels a lot, but in real life. She will be performing in two cities we’ve featured in previous episodes - London and Edinburgh - and she eagerly agrees to be our field reporter!

OBSESSIONS: (24:16) Alison is obsessed with her homemade facial toner. Check out the Facebook Page for her recipe. Lulu is obsessed with chocolate covered gummy bears. She brought some with her, so Alison and Christina try some on air. 

WISHLIST: (29:00) Lulu wishes for sundots. They’re gummies that have sun protection in them. Alison wishes group messaging did not exist. Christina wishes she could scat. Lulu gives her a lesson in scatting. 

CHRISTINA BIANCO’S 10K DAY - ORLANDO, FL: (37:52) Fulfilling childhood dreams, she treats her posse with flights to DisneyWorld! Before they head to the theme parks though, she is getting custom made costumes for everyone. Oh, and they head over to Universal to take in Harry Potter World. They get Park Hopper and Fast Passes, it’s the only way to do Disney. They stay in a villa in the yet to be opened Star Wars Hotel. Dinner in a private room at Victoria & Albert’s. 

LULU’S 10K DAY - COFFIN BAY, AUSTRALIA: (47:29) She is staying at the Almonta Park Lodge. For breakfast, she flies in a cook that she found on takeachef. Lulu goes for an oyster farm tour. She wears waders and everything. That was only $36, so she finds this article - "39 Australian Beauty Products You Really Need to Try" - and she buys all of them. Dinner at 1802 Oyster Bar. Oh no, she’s only at $5,000! So what’s girl to do? Lulu buys a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Watch. Just a little trinket to remember her oyster trip by.

INTRO: (00:00) It's another video companion episode! It's very exciting to pretend to spend lots of money...come join us in dreaming, won't you? Cheap, un-bougie food and beverage is the topic du jour of most of the first five minutes of this episode. 

OBSESSIONS: (5:48) Lulu is obsessed with this Blender Bottle. It has a snap on container for your protein powder! Alison is (still) obsessed with Vinnie Louise, the boutique our producer took us to while we were in Nashville. Oh, and we are not sponsored by Vinnie Lousie, we just happen to be obsessed and unintentionally be wearing them head to toe in this video. But we are open to being sponsored by them. Wink, wink.

WISHLIST: (11:24) Lulu wants a new computer, pretty sure Alison wished for this in a previous episode. Alison might have said this already, but she really wishes she had eyebrows. Somehow we get into a discussion about acupuncture, but we promise, theres a connection there 

ALISON’S 10K DAY - FALL CITY, WA: (17:15) Finding this city by looking for unique hotels, she is staying at Tree House Point. A classic breakfast at The Egg & Us. A visit to waterfalls and a Bavarian village with Cheryl’s Northwest Tours. On toMunchen Haus for some german food and swag. A stop at The Hat Shop/Wood Shop. Alison indulges at the Cheese Mongers Shop. She gets online poker coaching, so that after dinner at the Salish Lodge, she can head to Snoqualmie Casino and kill it.

LULU’S 10K DAY - PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC: (35:52) Alison's face gives away that she has no idea where Prague is. Are you watching this yet? Lulu stays at the Aria Hotel. Breakfast at Cafe Savoy. Then the Alternative Prague Tour, where you make your own graffiti art! Next to U Bílé kuželky for lunch. Now for a tour in a vintage car. Lulu enjoys dinner with a local family. Lastly, Lulu takes in WOW Black Light Theater.

INTRO: (00:00) REMINDER: This is all imaginary. And hey, come to see us live at The Triad in New York on September 8th at 3pm. Alison adjusts back to regular life after her real vacation she told us about last week. Lulu is totally fine, until she's not. 

OBSESSIONS: (4:12) Lulu is obsessed with spending her time networking with other podcasters. She's really into What's Her Name. Also, did you know that only 33% of podcasts are female-hosted? Alison is obsessed with hiit workouts, Check out the Facebook Group page for an example of the workouts she makes up for herself. 

WISHLIST: (8:23) Alison wants to get her tattoos removed. At 18, she flipped through a book and said "that's the one!", to the Chinese symbol for woman. You had WOMAN tattooed on yourself?!?! Lulu is wishing for a massage! 

LULU’S 10K DAY - CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA: (18:42) Lulu stays at the The Silo Hotel, the bottom floor of which is a museum. She gets first class car service. First up is tandem paragliding with Fly Cape Town. Next Lulu takes a private winery tour with Wine Flies. Dinner at Marco's African Place, where the chef is the first black restaurateur in Cape Town. On to the country's only speakeasy, The Gin Bar. After a day of drinking, she's going back to the hotel to sleep it off. 

ALISON’S 10K DAY - BUÑOL, SPAIN: (39:08) Safety goggles, red tennis shoes, a red swimmer’s cap, and plastic car seat covers...what could all this be for?! Alison is going to La Tomatina, the World's Biggest Food Fight! She's staying at this seaside villa. A hamam session at Calm & Luxury Spa . Lunch at Posada Venta Pilar. A VIP box at Circuit Ricardo Tormo is next. The tasting menu at Pelegri, bottle service at L'Umbracle Terraza, and reggae night at Radio City Valencia.

Alison went on vacation - a real one! - for the first time, to Hawaii, and she shares some of the highlights from her incredible trip. 

OBSESSIONS: (17:48) Lulu is obsessed with this luxe yet inexpensive Pre de Provence Lavender Soap. Alison is obsessed with sea turtles, after a connection to them on her Hawaii trip.

WISHLIST: (21:40) Lulu wishes for pizza to be calorie-free. While an imaginary wish, this whole podcast is imaginary so she can want what she wants! Alison is wishing for a Sushi Bazooka. Oh, and come to New York and see our show on September 8th!

ALISON’S 10K DAY - PARTHENON, ARKANSAS: (25:30) Alison picked this location solely based on the place she found on Airbnb. She uses Turo, which is like Airbnb but for vehicles. Breakfast at Neighbors Mill. On to Fayetteville for a pre-season football game in $4,000 club seats. Go, Razorbacks! Lunch at the Low Gap Cafe. Next Alison stops at Herbhome Farm for some herbs, veggies, and goat milk soaps. Back at the cave, she calls a cook dinner at the cave, using her herbs and veggies from earlier. Then she takes a bath with her new goat milk soap. Lulu is impressed she was able to spend as much as she did in Arkansas. 

LULU’S 10K DAY - JUNEAU, ALASKA: (37:29) Lulu books a place on HomeAway. If you go to Alaska, you’ve got to go look at glaciers. Not for the faint of heart, or the ill-equipped, Lulu goes shopping for some supplies. Among other things she gets Leki Trekking Poles, Sisley Nutritive Lip Balm, and these North Face Etip Gloves (gotta be able to selfie with these views!). She heads out on this Mendenhall Glacier Trek. Then for a luxury whale watching tour. You have to listen to know why she has three Quarter Pounders, one each for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
