It’s hard to know which of Alastair Humphreys' many adventures to chat about.  He has cycled the world, rowed the Atlantic, run Sahara marathons and much more.  After those epics, he adapted his exploration to Micro Adventures and wrote the manual. 

In this podcast Alastair talks about crossing the Empty Quarter Desert, busking his way through Spain, and the tricky business of being a professional adventurer.  Nowadays that seems to require the additional skills of being a writer, film maker and podcaster.  So why does Alastair give away so much content, including all his latest book The Doorstep Mile?
