In 2009 a maintenance man at apartments in Woodstock, Illinois went to a routine complaint. When he entered the apartment of 24-year-old Kyle Morgan he found the body of 28-year-old Robin Burton Junior.

The scene at the apartment looked like something from a horror film, initially leading police to believe that the murder had been a satanic ritual…but the truth was a little more complicated.
