In 2012 Sierra LaMar vanished while walking to her bus stop in Morgan Hill, California. 

Sierra’s belongings were found in a nearby field and evidence recovered led police to 21-year-old Antolin Garcia-Torres. 

In 2017 Garcia-Torres was convicted of first degree murder despite the fact that Sierra’s body has never been recovered.
