Dr J Nichols is a marine biologists - holding a Degree in biology, an M.E.M masters of engineering management in natural resource economics and policy from duke university, and a doctorate PHD in wildlife ecology and evolutionary biology from university of Arizona - among receiving multiple fellowships for his ongoing work. He gained a lifetime achievement award in 2014 and in 2019 was awarded the NOGI award for environment - considered the Oscar of the ocean world!
