This week we chat with Burnie-born comedian, writer, podcaster and former Spicks and Specks host Josh Earl. We talk stand-up comedy, life on TV, writing for The Project, podcasting, growing up in Tasmania, and plenty more laughs along the way.

• Before becoming a full-time comedian, he worked as a school librarian, which later inspired one of his acclaimed comedy shows, Josh Earl is a Librarian.
• Hosted the 2014 revival of the TV music quiz show Spicks and Specks on the ABC after previously appearing as a guest panellist.
• He's a long-time comedy writer, contributing to The Project.
• Creator and host of the comedy podcast Don't You Know Who I Am?, which has accumulated more than four million downloads and featured major comedians including James Acaster, Hannah Gadsby and Ronny Chieng.
• Also hosts the newer podcast Four Burners. 
• One of his best-known comedy shows was inspired entirely by the iconic The Australian Women's Weekly Children's Birthday Cake Book.

During the show we chat with Josh about growing up in Burnie and how his love of sports, in particular coaching has inspired his new show "Coach". Josh will be touring a little later in the year so keep an eye out for that.
