This week on the show Maine and Emil recap Fight to Win 143 headlined by Victor Hugo and Felipe Andrew, The JitzKing Middleweights event, then preview the stacked Third Coast Grappling Kumite 2 event, The 8 man Who’s going to fight Craig Jones Submission Underground SUG 15 event, and Fight to Win 144.

In the news section of the show we talk about Gilbert “Durinho” Burns being booked to fight for the welterweight title in the UFC against Kamaru Usman only 5 weeks after his impressive victory over the former champ Tyron Woodly.  We also discuss some potential match ups and recently announced matchups.  

In the recap section of the show we break down the most exciting moments from the JitzKing middleweights bracket.  We talk a lot about guillotines and guillotine transitions.  We talk about some great flash leg locks, and understanding of leg lock meta.  Maine claims to have gone full March madness and picked the entire first round correctly including Jason Rau, Oliver Taza leg lock submission victories. Plus Maine gets exited over John Combs and Jake Watson guillotines, and a break down of Pedro Marinho vs Roberto Jimenez crazy heelhook finish.  As well as Roberto Jimenez vs William Tackett a match that we almost saw two weeks ago.  We also run through a few of the super fights on the card. 

In the recap of F2W 143 we break down the top matches on the card Victor Hugo impressive submission performance over Fellipe Andrew with a slick flying armbar to Triangle finish for Submission of the Night honors and for the Super Heavy Weight title. We talk about the gamesmanship of Nathiely Karoline and Ana Carolina Vieira for the Welter Weight Title, and possible matchups for Elisabeth Clay in her close decision victory over Kendall Reusing, and a possible match with Gabi Garcia. 

In the preview section we take a look at F2W 144 and its Main Event a 205lbs Black Belt Gi Title bout between Rafael Lovato Jr and Lucas “Hulk” Barbosa.  In the Co Main Event we have Nathiley Ribeiro vs Talita Alencar, and in the co-co maine event Jonnatas Gracie vs. the flying triangle king Edwin Najmi. 

In our preview of the Third Coast Grappling Kumite 2 bracket we take a look at how we think the stacked bracket will play out. Who our front-runners for the event are and why Gustavo Batista is so hard to beat.  In a crazy stacked 10k event. 

In our preview of SUG 15 the 10k bracket we look at the 8-man talent and make picks with the EBI rule set in mind.  Talking about Mason Fowlers potential pathway to a rematch with Craig Jones, and Kody Steel as a possible upset at his chances.  On the B side we talk about Nathan Orchards ability in the format vs Jimenez, and Hunter Colvin vs. Adam Bradley in a well matched first round.  

In the outro Maine and Emil talk about supplemental training for BJJ and what they are doing for themselves.
