This week on the show, Maine and Miranda accompanied by Cory recap Polaris 34 that took place earlier in the day we discussed the entire squads event and every single match in the men's tournament as well as both women's title fights between Ffion Davies and Margot Ciccarelli and Helena Crevar versus Sula Mae-Loewenthal. 

In the recap section of the show, we talk about the absolutely incredible performances from the athletes to cross the entire squads event, including stand-up performances and showings by Mateusz Szczeciński. We discussed the overwhelming focus on leg locks for the event and the commanding lead that team Europe took early and then never let go out throughout both houses of the squads event. We recap all of the action and discuss why the format works so well and how potentially we would like to see it used in CJI 3. 

In the recap of the women's title fights, we discussed Ffion pacing and the absolute return to form in her top game and passing pressure with her, taking a commanding decision victory over Margot Ciccarelli after three rounds. 

In our recap of Helena Crevar versus Sula Mae-Loewenthal we discussed the nearly 2 minute round one submission that saw Crevar finish a modified head and arm from the mount to retain her title on Polaris

This week on the show, Maine and Josh recap Grapplefest 19. We talk about the top matches on the main card, including the title fight between Adele Fornarino and Julia Maele.

In the news section of the show we discussed Marcelo Garcia versus Lachlan. Giles announced for one championship in a true match of the legends. We discussed some of these stylistic tendencies between both and potentially where the mashup will take place. We also talk about a longer preview closer to the event.

In the recap section of the show we discussed the under 65 kg championship match of Adele Fornarino vs Julia Maele. We talk about the quick finish and ankle lock from Adele and some other potential matchups and rematches that may be available to her as she defends the title.

We talk about Michael Pixley vs Jean Maltese with Pixley taking a decision win. We discussed his passing range and the ranges that he likes to operate in and potentially some of the game planning tendencies. His opponents may be able to look at in this upcoming trials. 

In a recap of Max Hanson vs Seany Stewart we discussed the dynamic offense that Max put up trying to submit Stewart and we discussed numerous very interesting defensive reactions that Stewart put in the way of Max Hanson. We broke down a D'arce setup and defense, a rear naked, choke defense that Stewart pulled off that is rarely seen and then we discussed some of the other offensive tendencies for Max that led his decision victory in the match. 

We also broke down Brandon Reed vs Philippe Geyer that saw Brandan be able to win the match with a Rear-naked Choke after a phenomenal slide by duck under and back and then a second back later in the match, we discussed the speed that Reed has and how that has become a staple of the heavyweight divisions in the modern era.

We also recap the rest of the card including an exciting match with title implications between Sam Nagai vs Kennedy Maciel that saw Nagai take the win by decision. Cassia Moura vs Alex Enriquez where Cassia takes the match by decision, and we talk ADCC Trials implications. We discuss the rematch between Jansen Gomes vs Gustavo Batista that saw Jansen once again take the decision win. In Kris Olivo vs Andy Murasaki we discuss Andy Kimura win in round 3. In Andy Varela vs Daniel Sathler we discussed the timing of Andy tricep drag to the back take and Rear Naked Choke. This week on the show, Maine and Corey recap Day 2 of the Craig Jones Invitational 2. We recap all the action from Day 2 of the biggest-paying event in grappling history.

In the recap section we talk about the two paths to the finals. 

First, we break down the strategic decisions and matchs between New Wave and Atos. We talk about some of the match controversy and the 50,000 dollar submission bonus that seemed to work to create action. 

In the recap of B-Team vs Team Australasia we discuss the sheer dominance of Victor Hugo, who single-handedly pushed B-Team to the finals over Team Australasia with back-to-back submissions and $100,000 in bonus money.

We also cover the women's $100,000 final, breaking down Helena Crevar's tactical decision making against Sarah Galvão that saw her secure the Aoki lock/ ankle lock finish to be crowned champion.

In the finals Quintet break down we go into the controversial of the B-Team vs. New Wave final. We discuss the five consecutive draws that led to the draw and the 47-47 score as well as criteria for scoring 10-8 vs a 10-9 round. We then go into rule writing and interpretation that crowned B-Team the winners based on Nick Rodriguez's dominant final match.
