Because pricing creative services is mostly subjective - most people don’t know what to charge. There’s no set rules around pricing in this industry so people just don’t know when  to increase their prices. And because of that - they don’t and then it causes a huge impact on their income, their level of happiness in their work and everything else in the business.

It’s always so great to reflect on your prices towards the end or start of the year, whether that’s the financial year or calendar year. It just feels like a nice clean slate and opportunity for change.
