In the news section of the show we talk about some great matchups announced for the upcoming WNO card, Gordon Ryan vs Mateus Diniz, Craig Jones vs Roberto Jimenez, and Nicky Ryan vs Tony Ramos in a BJJ vs Wrestling matchup.

In the recap section we kick it off with Submission Underground 17 (SUG 17) headlined by the rematch between Craig Jones Vs Mason Fowler that ended in controversy at SUG 16.  We talk about the dynamic of the match, and how Mason was able to get a spine crank in the overtime of the match for the undisputed victory.  We recap Roberto Jimenez vs Jesse Taylor that ended quickly with a great armbar transition, Ethan Crelinsten vs PJ Barch that featured vetran hand fighting and bending the rules, and Frank Rosenthal defeating Phill Schwartz with a great armbar transition off of a passing sequence. 

In our recap of Subversiv 3 we talk about how interesting this event was, with a combination or ranked black belts through blue belts in the same event.  We recapped the final round, semi finals and a few select other matches.  We discussed how much we enjoyed this event and were happy to see the format again.
