This episode is for anyone who has ever asked, “Is this the end?”

It’s Veronica’s turn to share and go deep on how she’s Reclaiming Love in episode 4 of this season. Elly invites Veronica to share about a recent “break- up” (and we are not JUST talking about Bennifer). V shares about what’s been going on in her relationship, wading through some tough stuff, and a recent ending.

V’s shares give a beautiful reminder to have the you you are now consider how your choices will impact FUTURE you, preventing the need to use regret as a teacher later. Hear how Veronica and her partner broke through a major breakdown, have committed to leaving the past in the past and have recreated their relationship brand new.  Hearing how love can stand strong even in the face of pain and rejection is truly inspirational.

A great reminder that (like a maze) when you’re the one IN it, it can be difficult to find your way out; therefore using the guidance and wisdom of someone on the other side simply makes sense. Veronica also shares the details of a ritual they conducted together to allow a fresh start and create a blank canvas. 

Elly holds V with so much love as she shares how she saw the intricate polarity and beauty of being both independent AND interdependent. A beautiful example of putting down the shield and speaking from the heart. She also shares a powerful question to ask when deciding whether to let something painful go: which is, “Are you done suffering yet?” A powerful story of how we may be lying to ourselves and enabling the ones we love by trying to “protect” them, and how we can release this by looking at what it truly is. 

The gals then shift into discussing the difference between men and women and the ways we can better make sense of men, including a great book recommendation. Imagine making sense of how men develop, think, communicate and operate to make your relationship easy!? Magic, right? Spoiler alert, it includes ceasing the criticism, redirecting your focus, accepting stages of life men move through, as well as remembering to look at what you’re making a man’s behaviour mean about you (pst. It may mean nothing about YOU)! So simple, yet so many of us can forget, right?

The Relationship Helpline brings the question, “What do I do if I’ve fallen in love with a guy in a relationship?” Exploring: Why do we do that? Is it a chase? What’s the wound you we are choosing from? A nuanced conversation about infidelity, integrity, trust and the energy behind choosing someone who won’t or can’t choose you.
