In the news section of the show we talk about a number of standout grapplers that received a promotion to black belt this week.  Keith Krikorian, Jessa Kahn and Tainan Dalpra we also discussed the implementation of heel hooks into IBJJF and other rumored rules updates.  

In our recap of the 2020 IBJJF Pans we kick it off with the men’s open weight, and then every single finals match from the heaviest to lightest divisions for both the men’s and women’s adult divisions.  We discuss the change in the meta from years prior and how the purple and brown belts at Pans looked significantly different than they did earlier this year at the Euros. 

In the preview section of the show we talk about fight to win 154 taking place in Philadelphia for the first time in over six months.   Headline by Jon Thor Blank Vs Manuel Ribimar.  We also discuss Junny Ocasio’s second title defense of the No-Gi Baltamweight title.
