In this week’s episode Eoin chats with Claire Oubelaid (@clurrtheburr).

Claire has been living with Type 1 Diabetes since the age of 26. She is originally from Ireland, but currently living in Australia.

Admittedly Claire has always been an incredibly passionate and driven person when it came to anything she was involved with - including her Diabetes management.

Claire always wanted to have children, and knew it would be an additional challenge to navigate her first pregnancy with Type 1 Diabetes.

But, in this episode Claire goes into detail about the ins and the outs, the insulin resistance and sensitivity changes, and the superb advice and reassurance she has for anyone who is planning on having children while living with Type 1 Diabetes.
