Franco Ferrero and his partner Cath are sailing around the world, slowly.  In five and a half years they've only traveled half-way and have squeezed lots of adventure into the journey.

Franco is a former Head of Paddlesport at Plas y Brenin, the National Outdoor Centre in Wales, and author of the books White Water Safety and Rescue, and Sea Kayak Navigation.  He's the man behind Pesda Press which publishes great outdoor sports books (including mine) and which Franco has been running from his yacht Caramor.

They were back in the UK when COVID19 struck, which has mixed blessings as we'll hear.
