The answer? To being consistent with outreach? Fall in love with it.
Love? Outreach? You’re probably thinking I’m off my rocker here, but bear with me.
The same applies to sales calls, and cold calls. Activities most people hate. When you hate something you are less likely to do it, let alone do it well. Quite obvious, but rarely remedied.
I used to despise outreach, sales calls and cold calls. I’d do everything in my power to put them off, procrastinating my potential away with weak justifications of productivity (anyone who’s ever built a fancy website for their agency can attest they were just putting off outreach).
But that all changed when I learned ‘something’ about my agency.
This ‘something’ made me fall in love with outreach. It’s honestly the secret I have for signing 350+ SMMA clients in 3 years and making a shit ton of money in the process.
This ‘something’ is why I love sales calls. It’s why I can make 100 back to back cold calls without any shift in my mood or motivation (psycho-like behaviour, I know).
