Teenagers Angela Pastorino and her boyfriend, Alfredo Hernandez, were inseparable—bound not only by young love, but by a shared desire to help anyone who needed a hand. On August 16, 2022, they set out to help assist a friend’s mom with home-improvement projects as she prepared to sell her house. It was a simple act of kindness they’d done countless times before. But this time, Angela and Alfredo would never returned home again.
