This week on the show Maine and Josh recap fight2win 162 the all women's event for Fight to Win and preview BJJ Stars 5

In the news section of the show we discuss the who's number one matchups between Craig Jones and Ronaldo we discuss Juny versus Geo, Gabi Garcia versus deJesus and Nicky Ryan vs. Roberto Jimenez, we also discuss a few other upcoming events.

In the recap of fight to win 162 we discussed the inaugural all women's event that is going to be taking place monthly for the promotion we talked about the back and forth match for the women's 155 lb NoGi title where Rafaela Guedes defeated Ana Carolina Vieira in a tactical performance.  We saw Big slams from viera and an off of the stage in a double leg from Guedes, an Uchi mata to toe hold and great heel hook counters.  

We talk about the Tubby Alequin vs Nathalie Ribeiro match for the 135 No-Gi title, and some of the controversy of the decision. In Talita Alencar vs Gabrielle Mc Comb for the 125 No-Gi title we talk about why this is Fight Of The Night for the Black Belts in bell to bell action that never saw a slowdown of pace.  We talk about the changes that Alencar has made to facilitate her being able to keep the sustained high pace throughout matches, and speculate if this will be a lasting change in her game. 

 We recap Luanna Alzuguir vs Hanette Staack for the 145 No-Gi title, we discuss the difference of approach and Lunnna early guillotine and kimura attempts from the half, plus her back escape and back to chest reversal.  Plus more combination attacks from Luanna on working for a darce side switching to anaconda, to another deep guillotine.

We recap Erin Harpe vs Maggie Grindatti in a very impressive performance from Erin that saw sustained pace and high work rate throughout the match. We also discuss Fiona Margaret Watson vs Mariana Vieira, and other moments on the card. 

In the Preview section of the show we take a look at the heavyweight GP for BJJ Stars 5 and some of the included super fights on the card we discuss how we think bracketing of the heavyweights will go with Luiz Panza, Erich Munis, Lucas Barbosa, Gutemberg Pereira

Late replacement Yuri Simoes, Felipe Pena, Erberth Santos, Nicholas Meregali .  Maine and Josh discuss a likely Meregali final with Pena.

We also speculate on the announced superfights including Leandro Lo vs Gustavo Batista taking place in the Gi.  Roberto Jimenez vs Isaque Bahiense that should see a high paced match, and Beatriz Mesquita vs Thamara Fereira in a no-gi bout.
