Today I get a little nerdy on ya and talk about some of the science behind what exactly happens to our bodies when we restrict food and caloric intake. A lot of times it's preached in diet culture to have 1200 calorie diets/nutrition programs or even maybe less than that. Or, the whole "burn more than what you take in and that'll help a hit your fitness /weight loss goals!" But really what that ends up doing over a longggggg period time is simply destroying your metabolism and keeps you from actually stepping into those results and hitting plateaus.
