The best self-care practices for enneagram type one is explained inside. It's a subject I'm delighted to talk with an actual type one on what this looks like in life. 

Self-care is a buzzy word and with good intention. The fast-paced lifestyle of hustle hasn't done much for our health. While it's not to say you can't hustle - it is to say that you need some extra self-care to do it without losing yourself in the process. 

But did you know self-care isn't just about fuzzy bath bombs and coconut buns? The word origin dates back to ancient Greece, where it was used to describe an in-depth knowledge of self. Knowing how you work, what you need, and then deciding how to provide that. 

It wasn't another standard or benchmark but a knowledge of self.

I recorded an entire podcast on the subject and why the enneagram is so vital to true self-care. Honestly, it made me love self-care for what it is rather than for doing it, hoping to achieve something. 

The Ennea-health series was born from this. A place of actual knowledge to take action, creating a healthier life that is who you are not what you do.
