This week on the show Maine and Josh recap SUG 23 Submission Underground headline by Mason Fowler versus Kyle Chambers.  We also preview the WNO card headlined by Craig Jones versus Luiz Panza .

In the news section of the show we discussed Gordon Ryan's retirement indefinitely due to stomach issues and gastroparesis as well as how this effects and opens up the No-Gi scene to others.  

In our recap of SUG 23 we discussed Mason Fowler's dominant victory over Kyle Chambers during regulation that saw the absolute Champion take a rear naked choke victory over tenth planets Chamber.  We talk about the rolling kneebar heel hook that Carlos Condit defeated Jake Ellenberger with, and the 30 second high elbow guillotine that Raquel Canuto secured in her win over Gillian Robertson.  We talk about the fast pace Richie Martinez came out with in his match with Dan Stoner winning via Japanese neck-tie.

In our preview of WNO Craig Jones vs Luiz Panza we discuss the potential leg lock battle that may take place as well as both Grapplers opportunities to score and submit.  

In the Co-Main Event We discuss Mikey Musumeci vs Lucas Pinheiro  for the number one slot in the No-Gi roosterweight or bantamweight rankings we take a look at both Lucas and Mikey’s  records against common opponents and give our leanings on who we think will take the match.

In our discussion of Vagner Rocha vs Josh Hinger We talked about how Vagner has looked at 185 lbs  and how active he has been recently. We discussed Josh's and activity as of late against top Grapplers at 185 lb and how this factors into our decision.

In Nicky Ryan vs Gabriel Almeida We talked about this as a showcase opportunity to see more from Nicky Ryan's game  and how potentially we could see a return to form from some of his adolescent matches where he was quick to set up submissions.

In Jessa Khan vs Pati Fontes discuss the recent tough run that Fontes has has been faced with and how a rematch with Khan potentially will spell more of the same we discussed Jessa’s  recent performances against Bastos and how good she has looked as of late.

In Johnatha Alves vs Oliver Taza We discussed how pacing and decision-making may play a huge factor in how this match ends up especially if it goes to decision. Also on the show we discussed the free prelim matches between Andrew Tackett and Micael Galvao, sure to produce action. Cole Abate vs Sathya "Bird" Wiltse, and Luis Quinones vs Damien Anderson.

In the outro of the show we discussed the Third Coast Grappling 185  pound bracket and how well it is put together leaving us with many questions about how the matchups will go.  We also discussed wedding planning and the lead up to Maine’s wedding.
