Juan kicks off his American Coaches Abroad series by interviewing Montego Bay United FC coach Rod Underwood. The Atlanta native has been a youth developer and assistant coach at the NASL and USL level. He has also been involved with the youth system over at the Portland Timbers. Rod talks a great deal about his coaching philosphy and how it translates over to life. He also talks about the stigma of US coaches and how that mindset has to change. He also talks about the pressure necessary for youngsters in the United States to go through to be able to achieve even greater goals. You can follow Rod on Twitter (@cutinside) and on Facebook (Cut Inside) **If you are an American and you are earning badges, coaching at the youth level or even coaching a club side overseas contact us.
