"People don't give you gifts to burden you. And if keeping hold of something will burden you, then that's the opposite of the point of a gift. 

"It's not disrespectful to get something and to quietly think, “Somebody else could get better use out of this than me” and pass it on to that person. There's nothing wrong with that. "
