If you are following me on Periscope, Day 17 of my 30 day Periscope Challenge was all about how to make the most of a big media opportunity.
It was inspired by this interview I did with mediapreneur Gwen Elliot where talked about how to take advantage of any media opportunity that comes your way.
Gwen Elliot is a media strategist and a TV producer for The Naked Entrepreneur TV which airs on the Oprah Winfrey Network in Canada and the creator/host of a TV show in Toronto called 'Start Something Big!'.
She also helps entrepreneurs get their big break with media. She's helped entrepreneurs get featured on Forbes, LearnVest, Levo, Virgin, DailyWorth, national TV shows, morning shows, podcasts and local cable shows.
Gwen is also an enthusiastic event host and MC with an eclectic roster of positions: co-hosting Vancouver’s Spring Show, TEDxWomen in Toronto, Wealth and Real Estate events, and the ASPIRE awards for Young Professionals to name a few - so she knows her stuff!
