In 1998, Cynthia Smoot received a prestigious Emmy award for "A Real Life Horse Whisperer," the story of Monty Roberts, who helped revolutionize horse training with his non-violent methods. One of the highlights of that story was doing Join-Up® with Shy Boy, the mustang, under Monty's guidance.
