One of the biggest lies told in the SMMA space is that you need to hire as soon as you can.
Couldn’t be further from the truth.
If anything, hiring from the start of your journey will be detrimental to your success.
How can you know who to hire when you don’t even know what a successful candidate looks like due to you not putting in the work yourself?
You would literally be burning cash as a result.
The biggest problem that we have in this industry is people that claim building a business is easy.
It’s far from it.
It’s extremely difficult & painfully excruciating, EVEN with the right roadmap in place.
It’s not as simple as coming up with a business name & hiring a media buyer to do all the work.
Whoever told you that was selling a pipe dream & was looking to cash in on a false promise.
Business is hard & the ability to hire is something that you need to EARN.
With the exception of hiring a VA to do extremely basic tasks, there should be no reason for you not to do everything else.
Take the time to do service delivery, sales calls, etc.
If you want to succeed in the long term, it is ESSENTIAL that YOU do these things yourself before you ever think of hiring someone to do it for you.
