WVU 22-11 advantage in second-chance points.
Freshman Emmitt Matthews, Jr. went supernova. Averaging 3.9 pts/game coming into the game, came up with 28 points on 10-14 shooting (2-4 3PT), 6-6 from the line in 30 minutes. 6 ORB-2DRB.

Kyler Murray CombineSupposedly interviews went WAY BAD“Murray better hope Kingsbury takes him no. 1 because this was not good. These were the worst comments I ever got on a high-rated QB and I’ve been doing this a long time. Leadership - not good. Study habits - not good. The board work - below not good. Not good in any of those areas, raising concerns about what this guy is going to do. Now, people will say “we’re going to compare him to Patrick Mahomes, we’re going to run an offense like Mahomes, we’re going to run an offense like Baker Mayfield,” ...but those guys are much different. Those guys, you never questioned them about their ability on the board, you never questioned them about their leadership ability, their work habits. They were outstanding in those areas. This guy is not outstanding in those areas and it showed up in the interview.”

  • Kansas Jayhawk Annihilation Post Game Instant Reaction | 23 Personnel Podcast - 068
Michael LaBarre and Kyle Jacobson join Spencer for some instant reaction podcasting after the Texas Tech Red Raider men's basketball team absolutely destroy the Kansas Jayhawks 91-62. This was the biggest loss for the Jayhawks under Bill Self and the largest margin of victory for Tech over any ranked opponent. This game was absolutely nuts and Tech led the entire way. Their stifling defense only allowed Kansas to score 20 first half points, trailing by 25 at the break, and they never really got closer in the second half. Tech shot an insane 62% from 3 and just kept answering anytime Kansas would hit a 3 and would look like they were trying to start a run of their own.
Texas Tech moves into second place in the Big 12 conference with 4 games to go. They firmly hold their destiny in their hands and need to handle their business at home against Oklahoma State and Texas, and then on the road versus TCU and Iowa State.
